I was so disappointed. I thought the guy was gonna fly off the chair and hit the wall or something.

This.

But like someone said in the comments, they should have played it during the superbowl, so more people would see it.

Man, I don't go anywhere unless I and whoever is in the car with me put seat belts on. I lost a friend in HS when she was hit by a car. She was ejected cause she didn't have her seat belt on.

I'd let the mom embrace me. Most awkward 30 seconds of her life.

Couldn't have ... he had his "seatbelts" on.

An excellent find! I am going to forward that to people I know who insist on not wearing their seat belt.

Thanks,

Nice video.

Only in the last year have I gotten into the habit of wearing a seat belt. After having several near misses I think it was a wise choice. Also driving 3,000 miles a week like I have been doing chances are eventually you'll have some sort of a fender bender. . . especially with the way Utah drivers are.

If passengers in my car don't put their seatbelt on before I'm out on the road I just brake check them until they do

I've actually seen a couple people bounce of the dash doing this if they're caught unaware (and they usually are). Be careful... but I can guarantee they'll put their seatbelt on afterwards.

That was corny as hell. I really don't see why anyone expects a cheesey TV ad to change peoples' minds about their seatbelts. I can't see it having any sort of positive impact on any of the stubborn people I know who refuse to wear theirs.

If your passengers consider seatbelts optional, you're not doing it right. My passengers get in, buckle up, and hold on. And do the "passenger ghost brake" a lot. Of course, most of my regular passengers also happen to drive like bluehairs, so that's not really saying all that much.

I'm so glad I always do. this morning I was going to the bank with my dad. We are passing through my University and a student is crossing, its raining and everyone is going slow, my dad sees her and starts slowing down, the idiot behind us admits he wasn't paying attention after hitting us unexpectedly form the behind!
