Has anyone used the i-throttle to help with the drive-by-wire delay? If so did you notice a difference or have a better suggestion

The factory system works quite well , this seems like the kind of device that will mess up and send your car full throttle into a tree

Dude why are you here. This site is for the love of our cars and modification. The stock systems all suck. Thats why an after market community exists. A bunch of your posts b4 made u look like an a$$ clown. Especially when u got noobed by 707.

This throtle controller looks pretty good, blitz came out with a throtle controller a few years back.

I maybe wrong but i think a full tune from uprex may do what this unit does plus more. Im a big fan of flashes instead of piggy backs or units.

UpRev has this feature. The difference is there, just not that noticeable. I've compared it off and on on two different tunes. Loaded the WOT from a stop on tune one, and off on tune 2. Honestly, I did notice a bit of difference but nothing that would really let me know if I did not know if it was enabled or not.

The 3.5L version of this may be different. *shrug*. I noticed it allows you to set points or the responsiveness. Cool features. I dunno. I wouldn't pay $150 just for that feature alone, that's a bit of a rip. You're not gaining any power, just throttle response. Like WOT from a dead stop. Meh.

^thank you. Im a fan of the every piece adds up to something. Not saying stacking mods makes 75hp but its better to have it than not have it.

My dear friend, I'm sorry that our views are different but remember this is no reason to get upset, its clear that since you bought the "small motored" version that it is the lack of horsepower your car has, that makes you think that it has poor throttle response.

Looking at your statement now, there is a huge contradiction, you say you are here because of your love of the altima, then you go on to say everything on it from the factory is crap,
So I ask you, why are you here?

Sorry, but his point is not about power. so please dont try to pull the 3.5 thing. it's about improving performance, and there are plenty of things to improve on the A/C. not saying our car is not good but improvements can be made to suit ones tastes. if our car was perfect there would be no aftermarket products for our cars. yes, nissan spends more money on research but keep in mind they want to make the car cheap as possible to make the most profit, so they dont care about fine tuning the car, just making it good enough. if you want a stock car, thats fine, but for many people here, thats not going to do it for us. to me, a stock car is boring, why? because it's stock!

Wow this forum has degenerated

I wonder how the increased throttle response would work with the laggy CVT? Could be a pretty sweet remedy for that if one wants to roll in CVT mode all the time.

No worries. Thinking about it, it would probably be more noticeable on N/A cars since as soon as I floor it I'm in boost anyways. So my "test" really doesn't give a full indication of it's potential. If you do get uprev, try it out. You can run the stock map and simply enable that feature and flash it to bank 1 and then flash your OEM map to bank 2 (or vice versa) to compare.

Not sure. Might help more on the CVT, but then again it may not since that trans is computer controlled etc. Would be interesting to see the results for sure Alpha.

Cool. If you want any info let me know. You can save 5 tunes and switch between them with the cruise control and cancel button. It's pretty awesome and gets easy once you play with it more and more.

Who are you? Welcome to nico chump! Enjoy your stay. But to answer your question im sick of this troll. If you would have been here say before june of 2010 then u would know a character named Throckmorton. I couldnt stand that dude but atleast he made or attempted to make valid claims based on facts and reasoning. This cat is just annoying. But thanx for asking about my bleeding azz pu$$y clown.

remember its just the internet, we just have a difference of opinion over a throttle response devise, sit back relax, now inhale....and exhale, feel better, good

It seems you are angry over buying a car with the wrong engine, and for that I'm sorry it could of happened to any of us, I'm sorry it had to be you, better luck next time .

wow man, good comment, gotta give it to u :mike ...... but as i mentioned before just because someone doesn't have the 6cyl doesnt make you better. why do you feel the need to go back to that? but regardless, this thread doesnt need to become an argument thread, i unfortunately contributed to it, i shoulda been better then to do that.
