This is for a 93 s13 with ka24de. Ok so far I have bought a new slave, master cly, clutch kit, and had my flywheel resurfaced. Every thing was installed and i had a really weak pedel feel. Took the bypass thing off blead the system about 50 times and still really easy to push the pedel down. So I break in the clutch and still 3000 miles later I still cant get the clutch to anymore presure at the pedel. So I think I got a bad pressure plate take it back buy a new clutch kit from different company and I still have the same problem. I have even broken in this clutch and still same thing. But it doesnt slap as bad as the first one. So what else can it be???

if it's a stock replacement, expect the pedal to be soft. The clutch drives ok otherwise? engages/disengages smoothly, yes?

Had the same thing. Went through 3 oem replacements before I just gave up and accepted the soft feel. Even put in the stainless line and removed the damper, still soft. Sure a more performance oriented pressure plate will be stiffer.

Well it make a weird noise in between 4-5000 rpm but doesnt efect the car, it also slips a lilttle. Well the oem clutch that was on it had a great feel but when I replaced it is when it got a weak feel. I mean real week like pushing it down with a finger. Could they have messed up on resurfacing the flywheel?

My stock clutch was pretty soft, I replaced the clutch with an OEM exedy/stainless line/new slave/fidanza flywheel/new pilot bushing and throwout bearing. Now the clutch is still as soft as before. I have not eliminated the dampner box but plan to. As you have done this and it produces no desirable results I would say go with a Centerforce Stage 2 clutch. My buddy Steve had one before his SR swap and that thing was stiff as f*ck with no other mods. It all comes down to the (lb) rating on the pressure plate.

Its just crazy that the oem clutch that was in there(before it died) had a nice feel but after replacing it with 2 new clutch kits it became 5 times as weak with a minor slip.

Me and a friend did a 5 speed swap on his car using a durlast clutch, it felt just like stock. After I did a 5 speed swap on my car (using a duralast clutch) the pedal is soft enough to push to the floor with my pinky and it will slip occasionally on launches. So I ordered an exedy and am waiting to install it. I replaced the master and slave and that actually made it worse.

I would say get an ACT but those are over $300 so I say my second choice would be Centerforce.

It's just the clutch/pressure plate combo I guess. if it is an OEM replacement it should feel soft, even with an aftermarket pressure plate (my setup ). My previous setup was a 3 puck clutch and a stock pressure plate an that pedal was stiff. If the clutch is fine and the pedal feel is only weak, get used to it. If that really bothers you though, get a racing clutch(3puck) and then if THAT doesn't stiffen things up a bit you do havea problem.OH, did you try adjusting the rod on top of the pedal lever? dunno if that really helps with feel but hey, try it.

I didn't mind the weak pedal feel of the stock clutch/aftmkt press plate combo until it stopped gripping. Now the car won't move an inch unless it's at 7K. It did slip about twice before it went. it was also shaking the whole damn car when I would let off to go into gear. Violently.

Did the restacked material fall off of the clutch? Or is it the pressure plate that is the problem? Or could the flywheel have not been resurfaced properly? ahhh come on. you can do eet! solve my fricking problem!
