Yes, we did... we got a lot extra's thrown in too, including the upcharge for the Pearl Paint.
I had to sell our old Car privately in the Bargain Finder, as they were going to give me squat as a trade-in. They told us our 2005 300C would go straight to the Auction Yard as they did not want it on their Lot. No Domestics. Once we decided that we were going to get an EX35, we put the 300C up for Sale and it sold the day before we picked up the EX35. So that was good timing, huh ? We started the whole thing about 3 weeks ago and it concluded on Thursday, with us picking it up.
There's still a difference between the USA and Canada when it comes to these things. Infiniti's come over the Border to Canada with a Warranty, but Nissans do not. When cost comparing, be sure to add the 6.1 % Excise Tax too.
You might want to look into Cross-Border shopping and see if it's right for you. Edmonton and Calgary have a deal going that they will not undersell each other... as Calgary is the next closest Infiniti Dealer to Erickson here, in Edmonton.
I told the staff at Erickson, I didn't like the fact that they were the only game in Town for Infiniti's... and to that, they said... cause they are the best and nobody does it better then them. Their level of service is better than any GM or Chrysler Dealership I've been to in the last little while.
They also said to us that a fully Loaded EX35 is cheaper than a fully Loaded Nissan Murano. However, I think the Murano should be in the same class as the upcoming FX35 due out in August/08
The EX35 is a little shorter than the FX35 and offers NO legroom for tall guys like me. The good thing is... I don't plan on ever riding in the Back, anyways ! If you need more Rear legroom, then I suggest you wait for the new FX35
I think the EX35 is a nice Car than the Murano is. The level of service is better too. We went to the Sherwood Park Nissan Dealership and they turned us off buying from them. Then we went up the food-chain to see what was there.
Erickson Infiniti was a first-class act. There are only 4 Salesman's that sell Infiniti's and Mike was the guy we talked to.
We took the Demo Car out for a drive 3 times, the last one being on Tuesday of this Week. I planted it into some Snow Drifts cause I wanted to see how well it would dig itself out... it was no problem.
My Wife absolutely loves this Car...
This is the Snow we got last weekend and the 300C was parked through it all, as we knew it would get stuck if we took it out. Almost coincidently too, Gas Prices went up, big time, the day we bought the EX35... and the 300C had a HEMI in it... so it made the decision to buy, that much more easier.
There was no Snow on our Lawn Furniture a week ago and we got almost a Foot of snow in 3 days, this past Weekend.
