Keeping your Q is a simple swap away. Don't part it, seriously.

Wasn't there a thread a while back with an Rb26 in a President? Sorry about the car, but aslong as the money's available, I say buy a beater and drop in a new engine. Same kinda deal hapened with my first car a while back (cracked head actually due to extremely poor female maintenance prior my ownership) and now I've got Skyrine powah. (Well, as soon as I finish tuning it that is)

There's always a positive side to look at?

Do what you feel.

Be it parting or reviving. I'd personally like to see it running again. I hate seeing stuff parted out unless it's been wrecked...

I guess the way I have to look at it...

I can part it out, get 2 grand if im lucky... 3 grand will get it running again, but i still have the issues with the seats, cosmetics, and so on.....

However it would be a GREAT story if I did get it running again.....

Maybe a SC 454 with a T56!!

Part it! I need chrome wheels and an alternator! Plus it'll be like your Q is living on through another vehicle.

Anything that has a GA16 or SR20 will do just dandy as a beater. ::echoes "Sentra"::

SE-R's rock, it'll get twice the mileage as the Q, and still put a smile on your face.

There are lots of 97-01 Qs (I think those are the years, but you know which iteration I mean) Q's in my area for sale cheap (around $10k). At least I think that's cheap for such a damned nice car. I almost bought one, but I need my sports car. If I can swing a 2nd ride, it'll probably be one of those. VIP Style Bizatches!
