I think adopting a child from a foriegn country might be a little easier. Our dealer contacted us today to let us know that Nissan has allocated a match for our car to his dealership. What does that mean? I have no idea, except that Nissan has now acknowledged that our dealer has requested a car with out specs that meets the same specs that Nissan has allocated for this dealer. Sounds like smoke and mirrors if you over analyze too much. Probably still looking at Jan delivery. Started this process in mid-Oct 2006. So that means almost 3 months. We shall see!!

We will have to throw you a party when you get your V. You will definitely hold the record for the person who's gone through the most crap to get a V.

So which dealership are you at? I've ordered from ericson and was given the 12 week wait time. Two weeks after the order, there's an ad from sherwood park saying the versas are arriving. Maybe they were the bottom line ones.

Our dealership is Ericksen in Edmonton. We still do not have a delivery date, but at least we know that Nissan has allocated a car with our configuration to them.

We went to all the nissan dealerships over the course of several weeks. Seen 'em all. Ericson offered to sell us the demo, but it was not the configuration I wanted, not to mention having the dark interior, which really shows off the dog hair. What we liked about Ericson was the sales manager did not try to grind us down on extras. Last brand new vehicle bought, the sales manager (derrick dodge) spent 45 minutes grinding dh down. As for the rest of the sales experience, we shall wait and see. Disappointed that we didn't get the new grad rebate though.

Am so looking forward to getting the V, sometime. My turbo diesel's still in the shop & I have to drive the oil-hemoraghing 91 school assault vehicle, (minivan).
