Greetings:

My name is Scott Buwalda, and I am the founder of Buwalda Hybrids International, a conglomerate of enthusiast experts in Atlanta, Georgia (http://www.buwaldahybrids.com), and founder and managing member of Hybrid Audio Technologies, LLC. My companies have been engaged under contract to build a competition and show vehicle for eBay for eBay to use in advertorials, media campaigns, and public relations efforts. The vehicle is a 1998 Nissan 240SX SE, shown here: http://www.buwaldahybrids.com/currentprojects.htm

Under the advisement of Greg (NICO forum god), we are actively searching for co-sponsors for this project. My firm has completed the audio and interior enhancements, and now we are looking for firms to join with us in the exterior and engine enhancement of this vehicle. Said enhancements can be subtle, to exotic; both styles are equally suited for this vehicle.

What exactly are we needing? The vehicle would be well suited for a carbon fiber hood, front bumper, and trunk lid, as well as the possibility of doing a rear bumper and side skirts in the form of a complete body kit. After we install any exterior enhancements, we would negotiate and coordinate professional painting of the vehicle here in Atlanta.

We also feel as if this vehicle would provide a good platform for bolt-on enhancements, from low-impact additions such as an intake kit, header, and exhaust, to something more exotic, including doing a full KA-T, or perhaps an engine swap (which we would install and tune here at our shop).

The exposure possibilities are nearly limitless at this point. We took this contract not because of the amount of the contract (as we have already exhausted the monies from the contract), but for the exposure possibilities. For example, eBay has hired a public relations firm to represent them, and the car, dubbed "Project 240", for the NOPI Nationals and other events later this year (Including the possibility of SEMA if we can coordinate sponsorship of trailering expenses to get the vehicle there). At NOPI, they will be coordinating an entire weekend's worth of press exposure and public relations efforts in Atlanta, including local, regional, national, and international media. The vehicle will also be highlighted on eBay's web site for hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people to see.

Additionally, I have already spoken with the Hatchett publications, including Road & Track, and the prognosis is good for a full spread article to be written about the vehicle.

This is an excellent "ground floor" opportunity to see ten times your investment, if not more. Like I said, we did it for the exposure alone, and so far, the exposure possibilities are nearly limitless, and bound only by eBay's imagination (and eBay is quite the imaginative company!)

NOPI is less than three weeks away, and SEMA only nine weeks away, so we need to act fast. I can supply eBay references for you to check. Please respond to me at [email protected]

Thanx,

Scott

PS: Character references can be obtained all over the world, as well. I can supply a list of references 100 individuals/company's deep.

I am pleased to announce an extremely successful weekend at NOPI Nationals:

http://www.buwaldahybrids.com/currentprojects.htm

We have secured editorial coverage with S3 Magazine, with photos to be taken within a month, and a detailed "week by week" build-up coverage on ImportAtlanta.com. The vehicle is in its last stages of enhancement; we need a body kit to complete this effort. The vehicle will appear shortly on eBay's web site.

I am frankly quite surprised to see such little interest for a vehicle sponsored in full by eBay, considering that 40% of the American public will visit eBay within the next three months. As a small manufacturer, I am taking a "loss" just so I can net the exposure possibilities. Perhaps a body kit, carbon fiber hood, and carbon fiber trunk lid sponsor might agree with me?

Bests,

Scott

Every snigle advertiser would be wise to get involved in this car - If you guys saw how much coverage our NICO Feature Vehicles got at the show in ATL, you'd be crazy not to!
