Hey WD...you spoke of using a mustang 4.6 fuel rail...is that all ford 4.6 or just mustang 4.6. What modifications are required to make this work. Im going top feed and i need some help...went to the wrecking yard today and found some 4.6 motors in other fords but no stangs at all. Also what year stangs will work? All 96 and up? what year did yours come off of. I hope you answer..Thanks for your time

I know for a fact the Mustang fuel rail works, But I bought the aeromotive unit designed for the boosted 4.6 Mustang. Good for 1000WHP or so. The come as a set, so I have a spare. I'll let it go for 50 bucks if ya want it.

well i was asking because i can buy a 4.6 fuel rail from the wrecking yard for 10 bux....id take your fuel rail but ill just get one locally...thanks for the offer...now what i need to know is...are all of the 4.6 motors even the ones in the grand marquis and caprice ..etc...etc... the same...well fuel rail's atleast...i think they are....if they are not the same...then i will buy your fuel rail...cool? thanks for your time

well i talked to buddy and he said all 4.6 fuel rails are the same in any chassis except mounting locations...he said if all i have to do is make some brackets then i should go ahead and get one....so thanks for your information and time WD...you have been a great help...and i wont be needing that fuel rail.

Glad to help man. Good luck with the rails. You should post up some pics for everyone once you do it. I'm sure alot of guys will go this route.
