Hey, I got this Wiring kit from Advanced Auto. Now I need your help like you said. I'm retarded when it comes to auto electrical wiring so maybe you could show me some pictures also. It comes with the relay, a fuse, and the probe and wires and such. It is an Imperial 226206 if that helps at all. Now I just need to wire it.

haha, ok fiz, I suppose competent help would be beneficial. I am wiring up my electric fan the right way, with a temp probe and relay and such. I'm sick of the switch. But theres too many wires for me, so I need some help.

if its like the kit i bought there sould be 5 or six wires. the colors are prolly different too, so ill be general. theseare just my colors, yours will prolly be different.

-ground wire (should be black-power wire (should be red and a thicker gauge than the others-ignition wire (prolly yellow, this goes to a 12v source with the power on, i wired mine to my cigaret lighter-power to the fan (cant remember what color-temp sensor wire i think mine was brown or something

1) DISCONECT THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF THE BATTERY!!! (move the wire out of the way so it wont short anything out) first you need a good chassis ground and a place to mount the relay. i drilled the hole for my ground underneath my radiator suport for a cleaner look

2) mount the relay somewhere safe, mine is on the fender above the fusebox

3)connect the power wire to the positive wire mass that attaches to your battery

4) connect your 12v ignition source (i.e something that gets power as sonn as the key is turned. make sure you dont pick something that only gets power when the motor is running.)

5) install whatever sensor you have according to their directions.

6) hook up the fan power wires, and give the fan's black wire a good ground as well

7)make sure you go slow take your time. i soldered all my connections and wrapped everything up in wire looms. It took a while longer, but now i have that stock look that i love so much. ill post some pics later today to help you out too. good luck- get your hands dirty

Thanks dorifto, yeah the pics will help me out a lot. I don't do well with wiring diagrams. Thanks for the sweet info though, this is starting to sound pretty easy.

Anyone know where the AC Clutch is? This wiring setup has a bypass, so when the AC is on, the fan is on. But I need to wire it to the power wire for the AC Clutch. Anyone?

if im reading what you wrote correctly, then the AC clutch power wire should connect to the relay your installing.

1) remove the ac fan

2) there should be two wires going into it

3) the power wire is the AC clutch wire( check your FSM)

4) leave the other one grounded the chassis, i think i just put it on the frame rail.

sorry i ddnt put up pics, but it was pouring yesterday.

Thats the problem, When I bought my 240 the AC fan was already pulled out, so I'm not sure where those wires are at, but I do use my ac, so I would like to hook this up. Thanks
