dang, no snow in PA yet jeff? you ever find those sportmax's you were thinking about? or maybe it wasn't you, haha, forgot if it was you or not. my cousin got some of the 962's with some like 5 mm spacers on the front and 10 mm on the rears. the fitment was pretty nice, here is a link to the pics.

so when are you going to get that gt2871r? i'm still in the process of finding one, i might end up just buying the gt3071r WG, its only like $100 more. it'll require some modding of the engine mounts but it should pretty much bolt right on too. hopefully in the next month, i can buy my new turbo and be ready to throw it in when i come back in march.

hey whats up. no snow here et but im hoping. those 962s look really nice. im probably going with rota grids but for now i ditched the really sunken 17s that were on it and got SE alloys. im holding off on the turbo to beef up the fuel system and suspension first, but the bigger turbo will come when im ready for it

UPDATEi was away this past weekend visiting family in VA but im back and making progress. when i got home on sunday a box was waiting for me with the brackets for the brake calipers. the brackets and hardware are painted up and ready to go but the rubber seals on the brackets are in the worst shape i've ever seen so i need to source those out. i got the CS coolant tank on and mounted up nicely. im also in the progress of replacing the thermostat and i figured i might as well paint the water neck and clean everything up a bit. i also removed the stock clutch fan since i got a permacool fan ready to go on. some of you might have also heard that my front end was in an accident while it was parked i guess, i'll post the damage pics but for the full story go herehttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=304540the latest of new shiny things i got is an hks muffler. the megan exhaust thats on right now has a nice axle back section so i just unbolted it, cut the old muffler off and cut things to fit then welded the new hks one on. i didnt take any pics from todays progress but the muffler is welded onto the axle back section. i just picked up a new exhaust gasket for that section and its going back on tomorrow, then i'm getting sound clip of it. now on to the pics

heres the cs tank all in and mounted up nicely. i used a dremel to make some holes and a few grommets to give it a really clean look

as you can see the waterneck is off as well as the stock fan

heres the damage from the accident

out with the old muffler.........and in with the newhmmmm delicious hks hi power shininess

teh front brake brackets and hardware getting painted

and the new permacool fan ready to go on

i forgot to mention my brother also welded up a diff for mygreeneyes tonight and i discovered the piece that holds the stock fan on was removed when i got to my car this morning. lol i found out later didderson was waiting for me to get back so he decided to remove it. thanks tom, 1 less thing for me to do

as a little bonus heres some pics of the garage so u can get an idea what i have to work with

the "good" bay used for project cars, teh chevelles and the antique tractors as well as my brothers engine buildthe "bad" side used for excavating equipment and storing teh dirt bikes. the bad side is 2 bays and twice as big as the good sideoutside shots

have you fixed your frame yet? or the metal patches still held on by JB weld? I actually JB welded part of my strut towers lol. I mean if nissan used epoxy to keep their strut towers together in the first place, why not use it again haha.

Man I knew JB Weld was the sh*t but dmn I didn't know it could hold a frame together that long lol. Anyways, not to bring it up or anything, jst wanted to say my condolences on all this pw stuff I know it must be frustrating, but keep up the good work and don't pay them no mind. You've got better sh#t to do.

As far as my car goes it's tax season time and thought I would have enough money to do a few things but instead I have to spend it on getting wifeys car back in shape and giving mine a good tune up- the rest will go to unpaid bills and some equipmnt to try to start a small business this year. Hell who knows I might end up sponsoring myself later , lol

Too bad ur rust was so bad. I had the side walls still in tact so I bolted and JB'd my new section on. Those prices sound really good for the frame shop tho. I'll think about it.

^ im not sure how much frame replacement woudl be though, the 350 is for fixing rust but u got a whole chunk of the frame rail that woudl need replaced. its probably going to be more expensive but still a good deal
