hey guys im new to the ka-t part.. i currently have a ca18det but its not impressing me. i have had a long while to decide sr or ka-t, and my choice is ka-t.. but i have a simple question that my searching over the internet cannot find.. does anybody know where to find ka motorsets that run great and possibly have low mileage? i dont have a ka anymore because my cousin stole it from me and then sold it.. and im getting rid of my ca to go ka-t.. i wanna eat my cousins sr

That sucks, why no love for the CA? I helped my buddy over in Japan tune his to the tune of 358WHP. It was pretty damn quick.

The KA is definitly a better choice then the SR though...by far.

Your best boat is to search the classifieds on all the Nissan websites. Someone is always getting rid of a perfectly good motor and stuffing in a worthless SR.

thanks guys.. i didnt think about the junkyard.. and no love for the ca because parts are hard to find and too pricey when you do find them. and the ca is under powerd.. it just goes to prove size does matter.. hehe

for 1000.00 Ill sell you one of my ka motors. Its out of a 1998 with 50,000 miles on it. Its in very good condition. Thanks and I hope this helps. I can also get it shipped to you for what ever it shipping is. It comes with main engine harness, ecu, transmission, and of course, the engine. I just pulled it out of the car. If youre interested, hit me up with an email. I have 3 motors here, but I just figured that the 50,000 mile one would be the best since its the lowest mile one that I have. Thanks very much
