why a jdm one? whats wrong with a 13b from the states?

JDM Turbo engines are cheaper... by a fair amount.

They usually have less milage and are in better condition as well.

my friend tell me their stronger and cheaper, i think he said more stock HP too like 280 hp or something, anyone know a trusting dealer or anything thanks

there's no difference between the US 13b vs the jdm one beside the fact that emission parts are not on the japanese version. the only motor that came with 280hp would be from the 99+ FD that was still being release in japan while production with the FD in america stop at 255hp. these are info i know since i'm a proud owner of a turbo 2 :D

i believe rotary motor are recommend for rebuild after around 60k (mainly seals; performance seals are recommend at this time since the rotors are out ). and japanese motors mileages are either half there or more from rebuilding.

Japanese engines are still lower mileage then a USDM counter part....And cheaper;)
