Hey there my fellow vert brothers. I am hoping to tap into the vast knowledge base we have here to answer a question I can not answer myself. To make it easier, I am just going to attach a link to where I have all ready asked.

Hey BiXLL,I checked my guides at the shop for fitment. The ad lists the 96 Camaro as the donor car. That year Camaro used a 5 x 120.7 mm bolt pattern. Your car is a 97 Monte Carlo right? Your bolt pattern is 5 x 115 mm. Most of new cars use an FWD offset (to clear the brakes). Now the question is if he read the numbers correctly. The 96 Camaro bolt pattern converted is approx 5 x 4.75 and you car converted is 5 x 4.52. Another stumble point many people don't realize is the hub centers. You need to find out the size of the hole in the middle of the rim and make sure it will fit your hub (if it is larger you can get hub centering rings, if it is smaller....NO GO). My concern is that when the wheels are bolted down, if the lug nut bevels don't seat correctly in the rims bevels, you may have some issues (wheels coming loose or worse... falling off). Have you checked with Pep boys? or even the big Online Tire/Rim sites?Might be money better spent..... just a thought..I hope this helps and makes sense...

The 97 isn't a "big old" anything. It's a 2-door Lumina... I really hate to burst your bubble, but people are going to look at you funny if you put those wheels on that car...

Just trying to help. If you were my dad, I'd scold you.

Maybe you should let her pick something out... We'll see...

For those who don't want to read the thread Bill linked, I'll summarize:

Hey, in the end, do what you like. We're just a bunch of faceless internet trolls anyway. Our opinion of you and your style shouldn't matter as much as your own opinion of yourself. On the other hand, you did listen to us regarding your son...
