way early advance on spring BG meet

redrocket and cnichols set the date for MARCH 8th. this is SOOOOO FAR IN ADVANCE, EVERYONE SHOULD BE THERE!!!!! we seriously want to make this as large as it can be. would like to get most of the mid US and eastern US 240 drivers to head out here. i know we always say "we want this to be huge......", but this is serious. its like a "this side of the nation" meet or sumthin maybe. thats what i'm lookin for at least. so this is everyones warning. keep march 8th open, and get your arse here. if the date changes, i'll post it up as soon as i know.

I was gonna post a poll in a couple of weeks with alternate dates and pick the one with the most votes.And all the dates posted in the poll would be pre-checked against the track schedule.If we want a large spring meet that would be the best way.

hmmm.....I hope I can make it this time to the meet. hehehe I see 8th is saturday is that the for sure date or do you plan to still make the poll??? I have college spring break in march from 10th to 15th I figure I say that, b/c that would be cool to keep the meet close to then that way if some as a suggestion want to hang out up in KY longer than a day they could do it during their spring break for the ones that might be in college and highschool.

I really like to see the meet this spring since i missed out on november.

btw everyone, march 8th is a perfect day because its the first day beech bend is open for the spring, AND redrockets b-day is that next sunday, the 9th. so, we could have like a b-day party for him or sumthing, and also race on the first open day of 2003 at Beech Bend Raceway Park. now doesn't that sound like fun?

I'm assuming we'll all meet at the Corvette Museum since it's visible from I-65, and that there will most likely be a pre-meet in Louisiville for those coming from up north (entirely up to the Louisville crew, of course).

I'm going to drive my lil car up if I dont have anymore problems with the it. I havent decided yet but if I dont have to replace anything else I will drive my car and if I ride by myself I'll need some directions b/c I never drove that far before. Never drove the interstate or drove down in town of Nashville either. I been in Nashville but been a LONG time.

Last time I tried to come but in the end decided I wouldnt, I was going to get a ride with Robbie and them. I just spent 546.21 getting stuff new put on my car and replacing old plug wires now its the radiator...geez...but no doubt this year I will come see the meet b/c I never been to one before.

Holley performance has one, but i doubt they would let you use it :pface it would be amazing if we could get a CA18 here. i really hope you get it running and can make it down man! where are all these louisville guys at? they haven't said anything on here yet.......they better look at this thread and mark their calendars!

Y0! March 8th will work for me.Ill make up some flyers with tthe NICO logo and the site add. along with a discription of the meet and pass them out to any and all Nissan/Infiniti's I see between now and then!That should get some new cars and people involved.

hey, that IS a good idea, lol. i should do that. there is a sweet 300zx around here i need to go check out. beautiful burgundy, 5spd, rims, nice clean kit, exhaust, not sure what else. i really wanna go talk to the guy. i dont' know if its NA or turbo, but i'm pretty sure its NA, because of me not hearing any BOV's or turbo spool when he revs. oh man, when he revs, its beautiful.

It's turbo...belongs to a guy named Chris :ylsuper

That's his black N/A one at the shop that is for sale. He was in last week on the lift looking at his exhaust (mufflers only right now). He's going to have Anthony make a custom mandrel bent one.

If I see him again, I'll tell him. He's a good guy and will most likely come if I tell him about it.

Chris: thats awesome that you have met him. he works at a place across the road from Greenwood, so i still plan on going and trying to introduce myself. his car is badass. and its turbo? wow, i sure haven't heard any indication that it is. whats up w/ his black one that he's sellin? it turbo and all that?Rubin: looks like the 8th is a definate. Hmmm, I know a Chris in Louisivlle that has a dark red '93 300zx turbo with a a lot of stuff done to it. I have only talked to him a couple of times in Louisville though but I don't think it's the same guy. He is one that for sure needs to come to BG on the 8th! His Z is tight!
