when do you guys start your first coat of wax? I know there was a amount of time you had to wait so that the paint will cure. But whats teh wait? and how often do you guys wax your cars?

Paint is fully cured when it leaves the factory since they cook it on. No need to wait, wax away.

Twice a year. Once in the spring & once in the fall.

I second that. Back in the day you had to worry about cars coming from the factory with paint that hadn't cured because paint was dried a low temps. But these days, the paint is dried a really high temps so that the paint is cured when it leaves the factory. Twice a year should be good. You can use spray ons for in between waxings to give it a little shine boast.

Yep, I have always done two full detailings a year to my car, once before the winter and once after the spring. I usually get enough wax on to last until I wash it off with some dawn.

I waited about a month and then applied a few coats of Zaino. Reapplication of the product takes about a half hour so I will reapply it every couple of months. It is needed here with the love-bug splatter we get from time to time.
