waxing and 3m

Hey just got a 03 350z track edition and I was going to give it a wax I got the mothers 3 step wax and it says its clear coat safe but I have 3m protection on my front bumper and side skirts is there anything I should do to them since they shouldn't be waxed?

The clear bra does not get waxed. Just wash the clear bra area and dry it. I've had a clear bra for 5 years on both cars and don't wax the bra area and they still look fine.

OF course you may be left with a slight wax line along the seam, but a fingernail should help clear away any left over residue.

If you get any wax on the bra, just wipe it off. It shouldn't hurt it, but minimize the time the wax is on the clear bra.
