ok, I'll be doing and SR Swap probably in 3 weeks. The engine is S13 Redtop b/c i'm on extremely tight budget. My goal is to have a daily-driven, reliable SR with 180-220 whp. here's the part I currently have

- APEX'i N1 (on car)- Blitz Downpipe- Stock SMIC w/ cold pipe (no Hotpipe)- Walbro Fuel Pump (on car)- Nismo Motormount- Nismo Thermostat- Koyo Rad. w/ Permacool 14" Electric Fan- Apex'i Power Intake- Spec Stage 2 Clutch Kit

- As you can see, i'm missing the Hotpipe/BOV, i know that hotpipe is a must, but what about BOV? Is it bad to run the turbo without the BOV?- Since i'll be getting a redtop (old). Do you guys suggesting replace the waterpump? I have heard that the waterpump for the red-top isn't the best. Anybody here have experience with that?

Remember, reliabilty is the priorty here....

Thank you for any suggestion.

Peace

BOV is a good part to prolong the life of your turbo. That being said, CA18DETs come without one stock, but that is just a bad idea. You should be fine with the stock bypass valve for the time being.
