So my water pump belt broke today and I don't know for sure how long it was at full hot before I noticed the lights on the gauge cluster and the gauge at full hot. So far all I know is that it still cranks and it was running when I shut it off, so hopefully nothing is messed up. Has anybody had a similar experience? I just need some reassurance that it's not dead. I'll be fixing it tomorrow.

Compression test, check your spark plug tip colors, look at your coolant level, check oil to see if it's chocolateeeE(water/oil mixed), and get that new belt on!

Luckily I just changed the oil hours before this happened. I'll check those things tomorrow, thanks for the advice.
