Water Temperature Sensor Location?

Where is that elusive spot where the temperature bulb screws into to take a temperature reading?

My engine is a KA24E

well on the ka24de if you follow th upper radiator hose you see them right before the head, i don't know about the SOHC

It is on The lower radiator hose, right before it enters the radiater. There is a metal tube wich the sensor is attached to, and the hose just clamps onto it. Just look for the wires that go to the hose.

KA-j there are a couple like that... do you have a any photos or more specific markings.... i'm a little reluctants to start yanking parts from my coolant system...

i'm assuming i'll also have to drain my coolant before installation?

Anyone know if there is an adapter to use an aftermarket temp sender in the oem hole on the radiator hose sensor located on the ka24e?
