Water temp sensor

I'm about to hook up my water temp gauge but i cant find the temperature sensor anywhere i need to insert the capillary tube tip. ive heard its on the intake manifold but i dont see it. the engine is a ga16. can anyone help please?

Hey man, your car didn't come with a temp gage? Just wondering.

Anyway, the stock coolant temp sensor is under the red plastic plug. This plug is found behind the FPR (Fuel pressure regulator) near cylinder 4 on the back of the engine. It's on a water neck that goes towards the heater core.Good luck!

It's the same as the 240sx sensor, well at least the plug.

It did, but it's just the base engine temp. I'd like for a little more detailed reading on the water temp is all.

Anywho, I just found what you mentioned on my FSM, and it looks like the capillary tt will reach it. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you know what happens. I've added you on AIM, as you have a sentra w/ ga16. My sn is the same as Nico name.
