My gauge quit working in my cluster a couple weeks ago, so I bought a Autometer short sweep and didn't realize I would need a metric adapter. I was wondering if any one knew what size the thread pitch is on for the sender? I tried searching around, but came up short.

Autometer sells a m12x1.5 and m12x1.75 I figure one of those two gotta be it.

Thanks guys.

On another note...I just got done searching SkylinesAustralia and they said if you remove the sender it will wreak havoc on your ecu, I thought the single wire sensor was the temp sender that is for the gauge only?

i dont know the thread pitch off the top of my head (take it out and go to ace or something) but the single wire probe IS for the gauge cluster and you can remove it if you want. just dont touch the double wire one.

I took it to Ace and there little tool said it has a 1.25 thread pitch m12 is the size.

Autometer doesn't sell a m12x1.25 so I guess I'll have to get one of those housing that goes in the hose.

I just re-threaded the intake side. Take your top rad hose off and stick a Vacuum cleaner hose in there While re-tapping and it worked perfect. No leaks and No problems. I think it costed me 8$ for a tap.

Re-threaded it to what? The sender they sent is smaller than the hole that is tapped there already. Guess I could thread it to m12x1.5 and then use Autometers adapter.
