Hey guys...I recently bought my 95 240 with an s13 sr blacktop already swapped in. Its water temp gauge reads abnormally, and the previous owner told me i need to switch the temp sensor. Do i need to have the stock KA temp sensor? If that is the case, i need to order one since i dont have a ka from a 95 i can access....if anyone could direct me with what parts i might need, that would really help! Thanks!!

Yes you need the KA sensor, however it's the small thermocouple that you need, not the coolant temp sensor.

There are two temp sensors on the KA/SR, one for the gauge cluster and a more accurate one for the ecu... The one for the ecu has a plug for two wires (as suppose to one for the cluster)...

You can use the KA temp sensor in the SR.
