so i was going to mc donalds one nite happily after a good date...and so it was raining...when i totally forgot how low my intake was..injen by the way so i proceeded thru the puddle or should i say lake and suked up at least 1liter of water...no joke...and engine completely locked up... i open her up today and found 2 bent rods number 3 and 4 cyl. OWNED! ill have pics up of the pwnage.

so i need a vote. ka-t with forged ams internals or RB25

Cold air intakes are just a formal invitation to the party we call Hydrolock.

My vote is, fix the ka, and get a short ram intake instead. It's definately worth losing that half a horsepower difference to know you can drive in the rain more or less care free.

If you have the money for an RB25, then more power too you, but that's a pretty penny.

locked motors suck lol happen to my friend during the summer, same way to after a date lol also almost happen to me luckily she kept turning i could have sworn it was the end of it then lol
