Can anyone tell me how i can remove these dang water spots from my windows. I think there called hard water spots and someone said it could be from me washin my car with well water. Is that true? Anyways theyve been on there for about 4 months now and i cant get them off for anything. Idk if ive left them on there long and its too late to do anything about it now or what. but they make my whole car look dirty and i want them off!!!

I have found the best thing is to before you throw out your dirty clay bar from detailing your car, use it on the windows. If it is really bad, use a Vinegar and water mix in a spray bottle.

5 posts down....

After you clean the windows and get the spots off, use some Rain-x (original formula in the yellow sqeeze bottle) that should help prevent you from getting them in the future.

Use 0000 steel wool. It will not harm the glass. I use it on my windows about 2-3 times/year to get all the crap off. I was nervous at first but it DOES work. If they are really really bad this may not be enough. Don't use any thing more course than 0000 though.

one of my convex mirrors melted and fell off yesterday. There was glue on the mirror so I used this to spray on it, let it sit, wipe off. Did that about 3 times and it's all gone
