My Monster-in-law accidentally (or maybe intentionally) spilled a gallon of lemonade that she was supposed to be holding in the second row seats on the floor. It spilled mostly towards the driver side and soaked up the mats (luckily, i just bought rubber floor mats 2 days ago). I was wondering where most of the water went since it just soaked up a small part of the carpet and I'm sure the liquid we cleaned up from the rubber mats was not a gallon, maybe 1/4 only. Then I just peaked at the bottom of the driver seat and saw the a/c floor vent. The carpet in that part was also soaked and the vent itself is wet when I touched it. I figured majority of the liquid went in there. Should I be concerned about it? Should I take it to the dealer and have them look at it? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
