a little past snug is good, I don;t knwo specific torque specs but theres quite a bit of heat change in that area.

I did mine and tightened them a little past snug :)

haha i didn't think you'd be happy with that answer. :pface But its like this, once its starts to resist to turning, turn a bit more without getting to the point of putting excessive force.

All else fails call a Nissan dealership and a tech would be able to tell you straight up. An you'd prolly get your answer quicker than on here.

well autozone says around 12-14 ft lbs.. so I'll probably go with that answer =\

I definately appreciate the reply because it does tell me more than I knew before hand =)

Thanks again!

gah...here in the chiltons i just grabbed for the 240 it says

for the larger bolt on the bottom side of the wtaerpump...16-20 ft/lbs

6-10 for the fan pulley bolts

but it says in even steps of about 12-15 ft/lbs for the rest of the bolts.

good enough? ;)

Waterpump replacement is an easy job, just tighten the bolts snugly and make sure you properly apply the gasket/sealant
