I'm in the middle to replacing my WP and Thermo. The FSM says Liquid Gasket. But the WP and Thermo I bought both came withshaped gaskets.

Do I go with :1. Liquid gasket only2. Liquid gasket and shaped gasket, applying to both sides of gasket3. Shaped Gasket only4. Shaped gasket with gasket sealer5. or all of the above.

Also, for the thermostat, I know i have to use the gasket for the thermostat housing, but should i also use the liquid gasket on the rim of the thermostat where the thermostat is seated in the housing?

Thanks.

I think I'm going to go with just the liquid gasket. But i'm still not sure if I need to place liquid gasket on the rimof the thermostat including the thermo housing.

Any suggestion?
