water pump ?

ok guys i need to know if any of yall have tryed uesing the fwd water pump and the rwd pully and it falled.

i had got a fwd water pump and bolt so i thought it was a fwd pully.the guy sayed he got it of the fwd nx he had for parts.but i believe it is a fwd pully.it looks just like the rwd pully.

but anyways what does it sound like when it goes bad?does it sound like the car is knocking?i hope so.because if it aint the water pump my new reb uilt motor with less then 5 miles on it is knocking.

i still have my old on im going to put it back on and see if thats what it is.before i buy a newone.if it is the motor im going to take my 454 pistol and shot it.

oh man i hate to here that...all i can say is double check oil and see if it might be low or something...and after you shoot it pass me the gun so i can put my car out of its misery

the oil is fine.everything looks fine.im going to take the upper cover of and see if it jump time.its got some major blow back on it.you can take the oil cap of and just lean in to the engine bay and you can feel it on your face.i dont know what went wrong butsomething did.dont know if im going to fix it our sellit.might part it out if i can make more money on it.but i will have more time to look at it tomorrow.

Can you make/get a vid of the sound? Are you sure that it's knock?

it sounds just like my truck when i had a rod to start knocking.im going to make sure it didnt jump time.i might can take a little video with my d/c and try to post it some how never do it before.

Well the best way to tell would be to drop the oil pan and start pulling the bearing cap.
