water pump question

Okay I have a 1995 240sx base and I wanted to know what happens when you're water pump goes out? Like waht are the symptoms. Please someone help me.

you start hearing like a humming noise. and your car starts to overheat. also if you take the belt off and manual spin the pump and feel binding ur best bet is to get a new one

Sounds like a bag of bolts, plus leaking coolant, Pretty easy to do...Cost roughly 120$. Get'r done mayne, while your at it...Take that huge fan out and switch to electric fans for optimal cooling...That is if you get two..haha
