Water Pump question

I finally got my SR up and running, now I have a leak coming from right under the clutch fan. Does the water pump have a hole that leaks water if the seal goes bad? I already have the replacement water pump and I just want to make sure there's nothing else i should check when I replace it.

Yes, when water pump is dying it starts leaking.
