i have a slight rattle not loud or anything when the car is idling until i bring the RPMs up jus a hair and it stops. Ive heard that it might be a water pump problem but im not sure. If anyone can help me i will be greatly appreciated.

Does your temp go up higher than normal?Did you pop the hood then start it and listen to see where the noise is coming from?

Slight rattle is normal in the KA24DE. It is the timing chain guides that are rattling. I changed the waterpump in mine and it is still doing the same thing. It won't damage anything, just a little extra noise.
