Just bought a 95 j30 from a friend, the only problem i found was the water pump pukes coolant after the engine is shut off, does not overheat when driving nor does it lose coolant when driving. I've owned a 97 Maxima for 3 years (189K on odometer) and never had a problem. Bought the j30 because of the reliability of the Max. The Nisan has been so good I've gained no experience with engine work on it. Looked at the j30, didn't look dificult, but any info on replacing the pump would be appriciated before I start rippin and tearin....

You should replace your timing belt while your in there, just do the full timing belt job...
