So i checked the crossover parts section and there isnt a number listed for part number...(CA18DE Pulsar NX B150-1350)

which ive been able to find...

problem is...there isnt any infor on changing the damn thing...i notice my CA sprung a leak from what i assume is the gasket...so i might aswell change the whole assembly...

question is...is it hard to change the pump...say comparing it to a KA Water pump...

any one know...anyone with tips...

anything is appreciate it ...and i hope the pump number helps out others

Just take it off, it's like 6 bolts. Just be glad it's not an RB, those run half the pump body behind the timing belt!

On top of all the stuff you listed, I took the crank pulley, lower front cover and my timing belt off when I did mine. Unless you drain the block completely via the drain on the exhaust side leftover coolant is gonna spill all over your timing belt. That's generally not a good thing. Just set the engine to TDC before you start taking everything off and you'll be gravy.

You also want the single cam water pump. The DE pump will not work.

RWD water pump pulley : use a '86 S12 200SX CA18ET pump

FWD water pump pulley : use a '88 KN13 Pulsar CA18DE pump

the radius of the center of the pulley mounting area on the pump is different. FWD+RWD or RWD+FWD leads to exploding pumps.

Now you can use a FWD pulley+pump on RWD car *if* both are FWD. its just the pump and pulley have to match, not the actual engine configuration.

You got the wrong water pump. You need one from a 200sx with a 1.8 ca18et.

You need to take the timing cover and timing belt to change the wp. So you might as well get a new timing belt
