WATER PUMP Installation Problem

I'm currently replacing my water pump but i can't seen to take oss the four 10mm bolts connected to the fan and coupling. Every time i allply pressure on the bolts the Water pump pully turns. I have basic tools for the job and can't seem to get them off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

take a flat bladed screwdriver and wedge it between 2 of the studs and use it to hold the pulley still while trying to loosen one of the other nuts. you should be able to loosen it that way. It has always worked for me in the past.
