water pump help

My water pump went on me and i switched over to an electric fan setup instead of mechanical and i was wondering if it mattered which water pump to use and if this was the reason my pump went in the first place because it was a new pump. All help is much appreciated Thanks.

The pump needs to match the pulley. If the pulley is the original pulley that came with the motor, then you need to use the water pump from an S12 (200sx). Go to the parts store and tell them you want a water pump for a 1985 200sx Turbo.
