water pump/fan pulleys

i wonder what is the pulley called that sit between the water pump and fan...i need a new one and i dont know where to locate one or fine a used one..so it help if you can help is find one, it can be after market racing ones...and thanz guyz

Are you talking about the pulley (which is attached to the water pump) or the fan clutch (the piece that attaches the fan blade to the water pump pulley)?

The crank pulley doesn't sit between the water pump and fan....

I realize this, I just spaced out and couldn't quite understand what he was talking about. I always forget that the fan sits on top of that since most of the SR's I deal with (except for mine) don't have the fan in place.

it "engages" and "disengages" the fan according to the radiator temperature.

i think it may be the thermostat. The thermostat sits between the water pump gaskets.

No. The thermostat sits between the water outlet and the block.

actually, it's the water inlet and the block , unless of course it's different on a KA and an SR.
