Water Pressure?

hey guys, iv got a problem with my water pressure its split a few hoses, iv replaced the water pump when i first got the car and since then its had excessive water pressure, when u hold on to the raditor hose its real tight. do u guys reckon it could be something with the pump i cant think wats else it could be, any help we b great thanks.

is your car cooling? could be a restriction somewhere in the system.

stuck radiator cap? plugged/kinked overflow hose? Wrong psi rating on cap? Those would be the main issues regarding pressure - as they are what regulate your cooling system pressure. I would start with the cap, and inspect the overflow hose to verify flow and see how that goes...

just changed the cap and checkd the overflow hose and took for a drive, its still got quite a bit of pressure but deffently a bit less.

Well, there still needs to be pressure to prevent boil-over and overheating -about 10-15psi. So you should be good.
