has anyone done this? i searched and only 4 posts came up but not on the subject. i wanna try and do this but don't have much info on the effectiveness or numbers gained on the DE. aem has a kit for a little over $400 with everything needed. they says up to 15%-20% HP, and 20%-25% tq can be gained.

It really only shows significant gains when its coupled with a turbo system (or some other form of boost). It will drop your EGTs significantly, as well as effectively raise your octane. If you spray too soon though, you could bog your engine. There should be a bunch of info about it in the KA-T section.

from what i've researched, it's mostly used as detonation prevention in boosted engines.
