So after DFW cleaned up his valves thoroughly. And it sounds like seafoam type cleaners aren't real popular. Why not try water/methanol like snow performance type injection systems? The effect from what I've read and even seen pictures of shows to keep the valves clean. Just throwing an idea out to y'all 5.6 guys.

I believe Seafoam works. What would something like this cost to buy and install?

I have considered taking my intake manifold off so that I can drill and tap holes above each intake port so that I could periodically inspect the valves with a note gage and spray throttle body cleaner in there as needed to remove any deposits. These tapped holes could be plugged when not cleaning or inspecting the intake valves. Of course this will have to wait until the warranty expires. It does seem like the ecu should be capable of adjusting mixtures to compensate for the reduced air flow caused by a little carbon.

There's different stages. If I had the 5.6. I'd probably go this route. Especially seeing DFW's motor pictures. And knowing you all have an engine flaw that causes these big carbon deposits to collect around the valves.
