Quote »ive always heard that the coolant is a good idea if your running a BB turbo, but its not really needed for regular turbos, is this true Dee?[/quote] Not necessarily! People put them on because they want to protect their expensive investment. We've heard stories of people who have the white smoke coming out of their car's and not knowing the reasons, right! Well, when your little turbo's cartridge takes a crap from the constant temperature changes you risk a chance at cracking the cartidge's housing allowing the water and oil to escape into the dump area, thus causing the burning of oil and water. I recommend scrapping them! I've scraped many a customer's water lines SR20s and CAs alike and the results favorable in the fact there was no adverse reaction in the performance of the turbo.
