water lines for t25 setup

ok i decided to not do the water lines and just get a turbo timer but what did everybody else do wit the water lines? cap them off or just leave them on there?

Ok, what do you mean? The water ports on the turbo? Because there aren't any water lines that need to be "capped" off. If its the turbo you mean, then yes you should plug them.

Tap into the coolant line from the throttle body - it's not hard. Why would you not want to help your tubo run cooler.

1) I have never seen a T25 with a coolant line, are you sure those aren't your oil lines? Not saying you're retarded, but I have just never seen it.

2) If you do have them, use them, you get better hot performance, and better reliability.

3) If you are positive that you do not want it, don't worry about it you can run it that way if you must.

If its a used turbo it probably has a water cooled cartridge...

I thought all of the OEM T2 cartridges were oil cooled only, unless you know of one.

an example of an OEM t25 turbo that is watercooled-----SR20DET t25. Water and oil.
