Green T has a new problem. when it rains hard and long, her roof leaks in in a couple of spots.
(not thru the sky roof glass) :wtf2:

i decided to check the 2 rubber strips on the roof, and as i pulled on them, they simply came out of their roof grooves. so i think someone fiddled with them before, and didnt caulk them back into place. how do i replace them, or fix them? do you caulk them into place?
do you buy new ones from nissan? :ohno:

i'm sure the strips are not supposed to just come out when pulled at, they have to have caulking on them and be glued firmly into place. that way the roof is sealed, and should have no leaks!

Green T doesn't like the rain because she gets wet inside. please help her.

any thoughts from you "Questies" woud be apreciated!

Sorry I don't know the answer as I have a similar problem myself (a non-mechanic noob). After similar conditions I can sometimes fill a coffee cup half way by holding it under the roof near the drivers side door. LOL. The info that I've seen on You-tube seems to indicate it could be a clogged drain line (1 on each corner) from the sunroof. Once it gets backed up it overflows the reservoir and sends excess water to your interior.
