I have a 98 Nissan Altima GXE, with 131,000 miles on it. I wondering if anyone might know why when I turn my air conditioner on water starts to leak from underneath the glove box. It doesn't do it immediately but I would probably say it starts to do this maybe 10-15 minutes after it's been running. Also after it starts to leak whenever u make a turn you start to hear a noise coming from a the vents, almost like water is about to come shooting out of them. Now I know for sure that what's leaking from underneath the glove box is water because i've actually dipped my finger in it and smelled it, and it had no smell of anti-freeze whatsoever, so if anyone might know what the problem is your help would be greatly appreciated.

Take it to a mechanic to get that looked at (unless you like your passengers with wet feet). Your AC lines are leaking water into the vehicle instead of outside of it. Hopefully this wont be too costly.

Jamarr911;did you get your issue resolve by changing the EGR system and did the symptoms returned after you start to use the AC again. I am have the same issue and my mecanic cant fix my problem, I told him to fix the EGR system and he said he dont feel that thats the problem. I also have AC leakage in my vehicle the same problem you have and my car is also 1998. I wonder if there is any recall on this vehicle for such problem. I would realy appreciate it if you let me know if the EGR system fix solve your first problem. Please respond soon I am between a rock and a hard place.
