Water leak in trunk

Today, while vacuuming out my trunk, I pulled up the spare tire cover and noticed a pool of water in my trunk in the well where the spare tire is located. When looking around closer, I noticed that there was moisture on the right side of the trunk a little higher up. I couldn't locate the source of the leak. Anyone ever experience this?

the few leaks i've seen were caused by

1. satillite radio no factory installed (antenna wired thru trunk)2. aftermarket or non factory installed spoiler

Neither of which would apply to me. There is evidence, however, of a rear collision because there a small dent in the bumper and I found broken glass in the trunk.
