Hello. I just woke up this morning going to the office, and found water on the floor on the passenger side. I was like Oh my god water leak!!!; i'm sure i've read somewhere someone having this issue but I could not figure out where and how it was fixed.

I own a nissan versa 2009 full equiped; and today is a rainny day. Do I need to bring this to nissan to fix it or can I fix it myself!?

I actually have an after-market radio (Eclipse AVN726e) installed and I wonder If i need to put back the original radio before bringing the car to nissan (for warranty void).

The radio has nothing to do with a waterleak unless you tampered with one of the seals like engine room grommet (which is doubtful). It may be a TSB concen from last year. Your dealer can check if your VIN is one covered under warranty and can check it out for you.

By fully equipped do you mean that you have the sport package with sunroof?

If so, maybe the sunroof leaked, as mine did once before. Dealer fixed it though for me. It just needed to be adjusted.

I know somebody's problem with water in the backseat floor boards was from the rear wiper fluid...

I had the exact same problem with my Versa. Took it in and it turned out to be that one of the four drainage tubes for the sunroof had been clogged. It was the front passenger tube, so the water backed up and started to run down the inside of the A pillar and ended up on the floor. It only took them 30 minutes to clear it out and it was as good as new! It wasn't covered by warranty obviously, but cost next to nothing.

About those drainage tubes, do they ever need to be cleaned or flushed by the dealer?

I read on a different forum (for a different car) that people had to do such a thing. I was wondering if this was the case for our Versa's sunroofs ???
