one morning i woke up to a good inch and a half puddle of water in the front driverside floorboard and damp carpet in the rear driverside floorboard.

i Cannot for the love of god figure out where the water is coming from!i dont think its from my windows because after it rains i feel the inside towards the top of the window and its all dry. as well as my door panel.

it doesn't do it in the passenger side.just the driver side.

i think i have an idea where it may be coming from but idk.i sorta relocated my harness higher up into the fenderwell a while back.and as a result i pulled on the harness pulling on the plug that runs into the firewall.could that be it? because i messed up the wiring harness plug in the firewall??

Its been raining for Two days now and its a complete mess!it smells and its damp inside my car.a very uncomfortable feeling.

anyone run into this problem with the S14s??

Its possible that it could leak there, check the wire loom if its leaking from the firewall?

Do you have a sunroof? If you do, they have 4 drainage hose at each corner of the sunroof. The 2 in front go down the A-pillar to the bottom somewhere...lol possibly could be leaking there. Good luck

i have a leak in my trunk. idk how to fix it. i tried sealing my tail lights but i think my trunk isnt seating correctly..? Everytime it rains my trunk is damp and there is a puddle of water on the right side of the trunk if you stick your hand to the bottom.

Weather stripping doesn't last forever even the newest 240sx's are 11years old and the oldest being 21 sunroofs, rear glass, windshield, some cases quarter windows probably need to be resealed. Dont forget about your door and trunk stripping ether!! it all ages and will eventually leak. Like above the sunroof drains could also be clogged.

I just had a pool of water in my trunk (about 3 inches). I found that my tail light wasnt sealed so I got that fixed. GL with the leak, I found mine with some cups of water.

I haven't sealed that area yet. but it makes sense.

but then what i don't understand is when i let the car sit overnight i had a puddle in my driver side.

how could that much water get in there when the cars standing still?

either way when i do fix it i wont be able to tell until it rains again.

Try and check it with a hose. Just spray water on it for a while or until you see water in the interior.

that would mean re-drying my carpet wonder if there's a way i could lift up that part of my carpet and fold it over.

If you have a body kit ( like I do and I leak water also in the trunk), it could leak through where it screws into the body. That's where I found mine. I still need to put something aropund the hole. I also had a leak in the passenger rear window to. I sealed it with some GM rtv and its good now. Its been raining here in the NE for 2 days and im scared to see how much water is actually in there.

Word. I just found water in the same exact place that you did! I undid a rubber grommet in the trunk in order to let the water drain out of the trunk. But on the right side of the trunk I will have to take a sponge....ugh.

Did you ever fix it? And if you did, How?
