You guys are gona love this. My room mate and I got bored the other night so we decided to pour water into our engines. We got em hot and took off the intake at the throttle body. Got a gallon of water and started pouring, right into the throttle body. It was sweet, it lugged and sputtered and died. Let it sit and she started right up. Its was funney as hell, most people freak out about water in an engine. A gallon!
Soo with that said, I set up a system on my prelude, its a 86 piece of ****. I got a needle and put it in a vacume line to the intake manni and ran a hose from the needle to a bottle of water. The vacume pulls the water into the manni relative to mercury in the manni. It seems to be working great so far, Im hoping for improved gas mileage and a nice steam cleaning. Not performance. I plan on getting a system for my SR when the time comes for detnation.. This is just for fun. Im gona run some isopropyl in a few days just to see what it does. It sputters if I let it sit and idle to long.
Peace.
