it depends on whether you mean spraying the i/c or spraying into the intake. spraying the i/c works marvellously, but if your i/c is way oversized (like ebay FMIC on stock turbo), then don't bother unless you just need something to do with your time and a couple dollars. if you mean spraying into the intake, good luck tuning. this does a great job, but not only will you need to retune, you'll need somebody good at tuning with water injection. not only will your A/F ratio be off, but the water itself throws off the precision of the wideband oxygen sensor. this is the main reason i don't use it. i don't know how it changes the reading, and the amount of change would change with the proportion of water to air/fuel mixture. basically, it would change, and the amount of change would constantly be changing, so you couldn't simply say "oh, it's the wideband times 85%."
that said, i agree with okevo, water injection can be awesome. i personally would rather have a bigger side-mount, or, having already done that myself, spray that i/c with water. if you spray enough water and mist it enough, you can get almost equally wicked results, but with little additional tuning or expense. either way you can use an ice water tank in the trunk to cool below ambient temperatures .
