I am still trying to familiarize myself with the details of these cars, BUT... I recently had a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville (yes, it was the supercharged SSEi) and those things were notorious for the rear sunroof drains leaking into the trunk. They were two-piece items that would get plugged at their exit point and back up the water to the middle joint where they would fill your trunk. Just some info, sorry I can't help more.

We have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix we use as like a back up car.

It used to ALWAYS fill up the spare tire well with water. It was the spoiler screws that leaked. Check there 1st. (if you have a spoiler that is.)

Good luck...its not fun.

you could have bad trunk seals.... get in the trunk with a flash light, shut it, (open the back seats of course) and have someone with a hose , open it just enough and just splash the car every couple seconds.....seems to me to be an easy find....

might be the tail light seals? If you pull out the trunk plastics you might be able to find drip marks where its coming from.

Check your drains located in the rear wells behind the wheels. They are made of pot metal and rust quite easily. I found mine clogged and a small lake.

Mine has the same issue. Upon taking a closer look I realized that the spoiler had a rust hole. If you look between the spoiler and the door itself you may see a gap. Its supposed to rest on the door with a tight seal. But for many reasons it ends up Rusting out right under the spoiler.
