I just brought my 1991 240sx about 1 month ago and notice some water in the left tail light yellow signal. The light works fine and everything but I don't get how water can get in there. Are there any gaskets for taillights? Also when I life up my spare wheel there's some water on the bottom of the trunk.

You too huh? The best way found to get it out of the tail light is to drill a TINY, or series of tiny holes with a really small drill bit and let it leak out. My friends Mustangs front lights used to fill up too, and he solved it like that. As far as the water in the trunk, I was considering another somewhat bigger hole to let it seep out. I did that in an X's car because he trunk used to flood.

IF I drill a hole in the lens of the tail light won't it crack it?

It shouldn't. I have three in mine. Use one of those really fine bits. If you haven't one, borrow one cuz a big one will definitely leave undesirable effects.

This is a *insert odd ethnic background here* fix. Do not do this if you want it done right. Need to find the hole and close it up. Take the light off, put water in it, and close the place that it leaks out of. After that, befor eyou put it back in, make sure it is completely dry so as to not fog up.

If you fill the light with water...when you dry it out don't use any heat or cool. Just get it as dry as you can and let it air dry. If you use any heat or cool, when the light returns back to normal temperature it will "fog" up.

Also usually they leak where the lens and body meet. I have just coated that seam with silocone before and it stopped the problem.

I would try the 180crafter method first.
